As a proud Mexi-Rican and First-Gen Latina, I’ve had the privilege of learning from my own family's challenges and successes, as they navigated adjusting to a new language and culture. Resilience has been the greatest value modeled for me by the woman I most admire, my mother. As I have journeyed the different transitions in my own life of marriage, motherhood, career, higher-education, and also experiencing deep grief and loss, I have learned the importance of resilience, faith, community, and knowing one’s value and purpose.
I soon discovered my passion to walk alongside others, and guide them to hope as they seek to find direction, healing, and purpose.
As a life-long learner, I pursued higher-education and received a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Azusa Pacific Seminary, which further developed my heart for discipleship, mentorship, and supporting leaders to thrive in their areas of influence. I soon after earned a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family as I seek to also help couples and families find healing and restoration. More recently, I became a Board Certified Mental Health Coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors and I look forward to helping women experience transformation as they pursue mental and emotional health.
